Online training in methods of Russian as a Foreign Language teaching

Abstract

Abstract. The article considers the peculiarities of teaching foreign undergraduate students in the field of "Linguistics" in the online format. The paper analyzes the difficulties occurred during the transition of teaching Russian as a foreign language to the digital educational space.
This transition implies the use of new effective pedagogical methods and technologies that will help to identify the most effective strategy for the implementation of teaching Russian as a foreign language to foreign students. The aim of the work is to present the possibilities of using
digital resources in teaching the course "Methods of Teaching Russian Language" and the system of tasks designed for the implementation in the digital educational space. The article describes a natural pedagogical experiment aimed at the creation of the electronic course "Meth-
ods of Teaching Russian Language" with its further realization in the educational process. The data from the students' grading sheets used in the article confirmed the effectiveness of the selected assignments in the course. The final evaluations allow us to estimate the level of forma-
tion of the declared professional competence "is able to use correctly the means of Russian as a foreign language in oral and written forms in the process of implementation of pedagogical activities, develop the necessary teaching materials and monitor the results of learning". It is
found that 86 % of the students have intermediate and advanced levels of mastering professional competence. Having acquired the ability that meet the demands of digital economy in terms of mastering electronic educational resources graduates gain very modern skills of conducting a
lesson not only in the traditional form, but also in the online format.
